Dr. Thomas Didier
Harbor Anesthesia was formed in 2023 by Thomas Didier, a physician from San Antonio, Texas. Thomas grew up in Iowa and attended medical school at the University of Iowa. He then completed a residency in Anesthesia at the University of Michigan. This was followed by a fellowship at the University of Michigan in Cardiothoracic Anesthesia. After working as an attending physician at the University of Michigan Health System, he moved with his family to Gisborne, New Zealand. They moved to San Antonio in 2013 where he was a partner at Tejas Anesthesia, specializing in the care of the cardiac patient.Thomas is married to his wife Michelle and together they have 5 children. They enjoy traveling, adventure, and spending time outdoors.
Dr. Ross Thormahlen
Dr. Ross Thormahlen is a native Texan who has practiced in the San Antonio area for almost 20 years. He was born and raised in Austin, Texas and graduated from high school in 1995. He then attended Texas A&M University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in biomedical science with honors. He subsequently attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, where he decided to join the United States Army Medical corps as a physician. Following his graduation from medical school, He moved to North Carolina and trained in the Duke University Medical Center Anesthesiology residency program. After residency, he spent one year as an assistant professor at Duke University in the Department of Anesthesiology before he returned to San Antonio, where he was on active duty as the Co-director of cardiac and vascular anesthesia at Brooke Army Medical Center. After he finished his military commitment, Dr. Thormahlen entered private practice in San Antonio where he focuses on general, major vascular, transplant, ultrasound-guided regional and special needs anesthesia. In his free time he enjoys running marathons with his wife and lifting weights with his 2 teenaged sons.
Dr. Gregory Lawler
Dr Gregory Lawler is a proud Texan, originally from Fort Worth. A lifelong Longhorn fan, he attended the University of Texas at Austin before continuing his medical education at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and then completing his anesthesiology training at the University of Texas Medical School in Galveston. The trust that patients place in him to watch over them as they undergo anesthesia humbles him and is the reason for his passion in the field. Dr. Lawler has been in private practice in San Antonio now since 2014. He enjoys any activity outdoors, discovering and finding new things, and building lasting relationships with people. He is married to his beautiful wife of 14 years, KC, with whom he has been blessed with 5 children, Nolan (12), Evelyn (10), Jocelyn, (8), Madelyn (6), and Annalyn (2). He considers his family his greatest accomplishment. In his spare time, you will find him in Austin at any sporting event where he can cheer on the Longhorns, at the ballfields watching and coaching his kids play sports, or taking Rosie, his Vizsla family dog, on walks around the neighborhood. And don’t get him going on about the stock market because he may not stop talking!
Dr. Todd Delaney
Dr. Todd Delaney, a physician in San Antonio, was born in Kansas but has lived most of his life in Texas. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a BA in Zoology. After college, he completed both medical school and residency at U.T.M.B. in Galveston, Texas. He then returned to San Antonio and has been in private practice anesthesiology since 2000. Dr. Delaney is married and has two daughters. He enjoys outdoor sports/activities: clay-shooting, snow skiing, water skiing, & mountain biking. He joined with Dr. Didier and Harbor Anesthesia in 2024.
