Scope of Practice
Our physicians practice the entire scope of anesthesia, from pediatrics to geriatrics, from teeth to toes and everything in between. No matter the patient, we offer excellence in anesthesia.
Preoperative Evaluation
Harbor Anesthesia doctors attended medical school and are comfortable with the preoperative evaluation and care of acute and chronic medical conditions. Each patient’s history and physical is evaluated for suitability for office based anesthesia before the procedure.
Perioperative Evaluation
Change in symptoms preoperatively? Hypotension? Dysrhythmia? We have handheld transthoracic echocardiography technology to evaluate cardiac and respiratory function bedside, expediting accurate evaluation and treatment in the event of unanticipated events. Drawing from our team’s experience in cardiac anesthesia, we’ll care for your patients with the same standard they would get in the highest acuity hospitals.
Billing
Our billing model is to bill the provider of the procedure directly. The provider may then pass along the anesthesia expense to the patient in any way they deem appropriate. This simplifies billing for the patient and allows the provider of the procedure to directly manage all aspects of patient billing.
Equipment
We bring everything necessary for preoperative, operative, and post operative care except oxygen, which is typically provided by the office.
